Ora Ora Gallery - Situated within the historic and architecturally significant premises of the former police headquarters at Tai Kwun in Hong Kong, this project presents the unique and intricate challenge of honoring and preserving the rich heritage of the building's multiple historical layers while simultaneously transforming the space into a vibrant contemporary art gallery. This transformation aims to accommodate a diverse and eclectic array of art installations that reflect various artistic styles, mediums, and cultural perspectives. Additionally, a carefully designed library lounge is incorporated into the overall design, providing a welcoming and comfortable space for visitors to engage with both art and research in a meaningful way.
